Bingo Beer Co. is a lager-focused brewery and arcade in Richmond, VA. I was asked to create label artwork for their seasonal releases that leveraged a unique, modernized Bauhaus vibe. To highlight the brewery’s roots in German tradition, we played visually with the idea of folklore, to “tell the tale of an ale.”
I and Creative Director Sophia Hornyak gave the rest of the brand a refresh, as well. In early 2023, the creativity in the brewhouse lived in the shadow of Bingo’s reputation as a party spot. Keeping the logo suite that existed, we updated the brand’s typography and graphics with a mid-century game parlor flair that meshed with the old-world thing. With the folks at Craftpeak, we made over a dark and dated website. We brought the fun and games to social media, merch, email marketing, and event programming, setting the team up with easy-to-use content management systems and print templates.
